How to Stream MKV/VOB files over DLNA?

"Hi, my Panasonic TV is DLNA enabled and I have streamed some videos from my Asus Router (which has attached storage)...but it won't play MKV files or VOBs. Most of my backed up videos are in this format for streaming to my PS3 (which is connected to a different TV in the house).So my question is...should my Panasonic plasma TV be able to stream videos in these formats? And if not, is there a format which is suitable for both the PS3 and the DLNA Panasonic plasma TV?"

Convert VOB/MKV for DLNA Streaming without Quality Loss

Step 1. Load video/movie files

Run the program and load your source video files MKV, VOB... into it.

Step 2. Decide output format

Tap Format bar and choose a DLNA supported video format. MPEG-4, MPEG-2 from "Common Video" are all the proper choice.
