Transcoding MTS files to AVI/MOV/WMV/M4V/MPEG/FLV and more
Most people prefer to shot some awesome video clips for their trips, parties or some other special occasions to memorize the happiness by some camcorders. However, most of the captured video format from these camcorders are known as MTS, also known as "AVCHD", which is a High-Definition (HD) video format produced by HD camcorders such as Sony, Panasonic,Canon.
Although the camcorder manufacturers like Panasonic and Sony also released many plug-in with the cameras that make their users view videos on their PC, some incompatible problem still exist while you want to play them on computers, portable devices, TV to share them with others.
So here comes the question: Can I directly play these AVCHD MTS footages in iPod, iPhone, or some other portable devices?
As we all know, the most compatible video format for most portable devices, TV and smart phone to play is MP4 (AVI/MOV/WMV/M4V/MPEG). Converting MTS to AVI/MOV/WMV/M4V/MPEG/FLV and more
Step 1: Download Brorsoft MTS to MP4 Converter on your Mac. Then import the MTS files to it by clicking the "Add" button.

Step 2: Click Format Bar to choose best video format for output. If you want to get common MP4 files for playback, you can choose Common Video - > H.264 Video (*.mp4); if you want to get HD MP4 files to use, you can choose HD Video - > H.264 HD Video (*.mp4). You also can choose other video formats for playing, such as M4V for Apple TV, MOV for QT.
Step 3: Tap the conversion button to start converting MTS files to MP4.
After conversion, you can use these MP4//AVI/MOV/WMV/M4V/MPEG files as you want for your portable devices, TV or smart Phone.
Once you chose the output format, you can go to Settings to adjust the parameters as you like before conversion.
