Brorsoft Upgrade for M3U8 Encoding for All Windows and Mac Products

Oct 26, 2015 - Brorsoft Studio just announced all Brorsoft Windows/Mac products upgraded for M3U8 Encoding for fluent video playback and free sharing with anyone you like.

What's new in this upgrade?

Files with the .m3u8 file extension are the basis for the HTTP Live Streaming format used by Apple to stream video to iOS devices. These files contain MP3 playlist files and they are used by a variety of media applications and online radio stations. These files do not contain any actual audio data. M3U8 files are stored in a plain-text format. Files with the .m3u8 extension are a unicode version of the M3U file format.

With the ability of exporting M3U8 files in Brorsoft products, users who own either iOS or Android smartphones and tablets can upload videos to their HTTP server and then stream to portable devices for viewing and sharing with friends, families with ease.

Windows: Apple iTunes, Microsoft Windows Media Player, VideoLAN VLC Media Player

Mac: Apple iTunes, VideoLAN VLC Media Player

Linux: Videolan VLC Media Player

iOS: Videolan VLC Media Player

Modifications in this upgrade:

1. Add Apple ProRes as output to Windows Products
2. Support encoding to .m3u8
3. Add ouputs for Sony/LG/Samsung/Panasonic TVs
4. Support encoding to HEVC/H.265 MKV
5. Fix some bugs

PS: Brorsoft Blu-ray/DVD ripping tools now can be compatible with new Blu-ray and standard DVD movies, such as John Wick, Begin Gain, Interstellar, America Sniper, Wild Card, etc. Meanwhile, the new release of Blu-ray, DVD, and video converters fixes existing bugs with previous version and registered users can run the upgrade and backup their discs and video clips without trouble.
