    Before giving you the way of imputing Canon EOS C100 footages into Avid Media Composer, I think it is good for you to know some informations. The users must know that the format of Canon EOS C100 clips is .mts which is compressed by MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. On the contrary, the most compatible format for Avid Media Composer is Avid DNxHD. Thus you can not imput recordings from Canon EOS C100 to Avid MC easily. However, clever persons usually can find the way to slove these problems.

    2. For 1080 60i AVCHD videos, set the video size as 1920*1080; while, set the video frame rate as 30fps.


    Step 4: All the settings have been done; you can start the 1080 60i/50i AVCHD to DNxHD MOV Mac conversion for Avid Media Composer by clicking the “Convert” button. Then you can get the converted DNxHD (*.mov) files for editing in Avid MC by clicking the “Open” button.


    Tips:
    1. Double click the selected file and you can have a preview of the imported file on the viewer.
    2. Right click the imported file, you will find many functions including "Rename", "Split" and so on.
    3. Deinterlace 1080i files: Click Edit and select "deinterlacing" in the Effect.
    4. 3D conversion. The Red-Blue/Red-Green 3D conversions are supported.
