As you see, more and more Blu-ray movies are encoded in VC-1 codec. After lots of working around to find a way, here is what we found works best for ripping a Blu-ray with VC-1 encoded video. How to Convert Blu-ray VC-1 Stream to H.264 MKV, MOV, MP4

Step 1. Import Blu-ray movies

Run the Blu-ray Ripper and import Blu-ray disc with VC-1 codec. Soon after loading, you will find all titles and chapters for the Blu-ray disc. You can only choose the main movie for conversion.

Step 2. Choose output format

Click Format bar and select output format. To convert VC-1 to H.264 in HD quality, you can choose "HD Video"; to transcode BD VC-1 to H.264 MOV, MP4, MKV, you can select "Common Video". Plus, if you wanna play the output videos on certain devices, a better choice is selecting the preset for device as the output format in the output box.

Step 3. Advanced Settings

This VC-1 to H.264 encoder also allows you to customize video and audio parameters via clicking Settings button. The adjustable settings include codec, bit rate, frame rate, sample rate, audio channel.

Step 4. Start the Blu-ray VC-1 Conversion

Click the Convert button under the preview window to start ripping Blu-ray VC-1 to H.264 or any your desired format. The time spent on conversion depending on the output format/settings you choose. And if you want to have a rest, please choose shut down computer after conversion.
